About Us

Hi, I'm JJ, founder of Fit Gym Equip and a current JUCO basketball player and athletic trainer based in Northern California.

My passion for fitness started early. Growing up playing baseball and basketball, I became more and more obsessed with training, performance, and taking care of my body. After high school, I was pursuing JUCO baseball and couldn't commit to a traditional job, but I knew I wanted to build something of my own. I watched my uncle successfully run an online sports equipment business and thought, why not do the same with gym equipment? Something I actually love.

That's how Fit Gym Equip was born, about two years ago.

Today I'm still competing on the court, working as an athletic trainer at my school, and running this business with one goal in mind: helping people find the right equipment to crush their fitness goals, whether that's in a home gym, a commercial facility, or anywhere in between.

Because I'm an athlete and a trainer myself, I don't just sell equipment; I understand how it's used, why quality matters, and what actually makes a difference in your training.
